THE FACTS: According to the Library of Congress, the inventor of the first true automobile was probably Germany’s Karl Benz, who created the first auto powered by an internal combustion gasoline, in 1885 or 1886. Henry Ford created the first assembly line that made cars affordable.

Unemplyment Benefits To go Up $25 Per Week
February 23rd, 2009The office of the Governor has released a statement saying that unemplyment beneiftes will go up by $25 effective February 22, 2009. These funds are coming from the stimulis package passed by Congress at the urging of President O’Bama. The release said that the $787 billion economic stimulus package includes $12.2 billion for Florida over three years. According to the release, the proposed budget will create or retain 314,590 jobs
